Keeping cool

Crazily Wales is in a Amber weather warning for extreme heat for the next few days 😳 🔥
Whilst it sounds dramatic, this is because heat stroke can be fatal, with half of all dogs who suffer from it dying.
Avoid walking your dogs when it is hot, stick to early morning and late evenings. Keep plenty of water available on your walk and watch for signs of early heat stroke (excessive panting, ears pulled back, exhaustion) and if you see them wet your dog with cool water and seek immediate vet attention.
Stay safe, and enjoy the weather the best way – by relaxing at home!
