Katharine joined Trefaldwyn Vets in 1999 after working at a mixed practice in Shrewsbury. She spent the next five years in nursing and reception roles as well as gaining the Pre-VN qualification at Walford College. After a stint at another Shropshire small animal practice she worked on the family smallholding breeding pedigree pigs and sheep before re-joining Trefaldwyn Vets in 2010 in her current role answering phones out of hours. More recently she has re-joined the reception team part time.
 
Katharine has a flock of geriatric sheep, three dogs and a cat and is a keen gardener and textile artist. She recently graduated with a BSc. Natural Sciences and has a strong interesting in environmental science and regenerative agriculture.
